The Mid-Hudson Performing Arts College Fair is the
only college fair
in the Hudson Valley that focuses on matching high school students
with Colleges and Universities that offer degree programs in ALL the performing arts:
Music, Theater, Dance and Film,
AND
is centrally located in the Mid-Hudson Valley to be accessible for students from schools throughout the region.
The Mid-Hudson Valley and the surrounding region are home to an abundance of schools with very active performing arts programs.

Our college fair includes informative panel discussions and presentations
before we open the exhibitors hall.

Past Panel Discussions have included:
Performing Arts Programs and you: What you need to know.
This panel discussion is recommended for both students and their parents. We will focus on how the performing art college application process can differ from the more traditional application process, how to choose the school that is the best fit for your student, and SAT/ACT prep. Questions addressed will include those submitted by students when they registered online.
This panel was chaired by Dean Viggiano of Tutoring Up-Grades.

College Planning 101.
This presentation is recommended for parents. It will focus on the financial side of attending college. While parents attend this presentation we encourage students to take advantage of the college fair on their own, giving you a chance to talk to the college representatives one-to-one. Stephanie Goldberg-Mauro is the owner and founder of College Planning 101. With almost 10 years of college planning experience, Stephanie has helped hundreds of families get their students into the “right” college at the “right” price for their budgets.

After the first panel we open the exhibitors hall where you can meet with admissions representatives from an assortment of colleges and universities offering a variety of performing art programs.

Following the College Fair, the Stringendo Opening Season Concert will be held in the Arlington Auditorium.
